Sheraton Centre Toronto has unveiled the Cisco TelePresence video meetings suite, with more Starwood hotels expected to add the feature this year.
The Sheraton Centre Toronto joins the W Chicago City Center and Sheraton on the Park Sydney as the first in Starwood Hotels’ global portfolio to introduce the video meeting facilities.
Other Starwood locations expected to open in 2010 include the Westin Los Angeles Airport.
Beyond that, the hotel chain expects to expand the offering to key domestic and international markets such as Dallas, San Francisco, Brussels, Paris, Hong Kong and Frankfurt.
The meetings suite provides high-definition conferencing facilities with high-quality audio and video that allows participants to meet colleagues, customers and business partners across a virtual table.
Reservations for the meeting suite can be made via credit card using an online portal, making it easy for meeting planners to book time..
