Site Canada introduced its “Gain InSite” loyalty program at its 25th Anniversary Summer Social fundraiser event, held June 19th at Liberty Grand, Toronto. Meetings + Incentive Travel is the inaugural sponsor of the program.
According to Site Canada president Pam Graham, the program encourages members to source, propose and buy services from other Site members’ organizations first. “It benefits not only incentive buyers who may purchase room nights from a hotelier member, but also benefits suppliers, who may need the services of an audiovisual company or photographer,” she explained to the sold-out audience at the fundraiser.
In a survey of Site Canada members across the country, more than 50 per cent of respondents said that they consider their fellow Site members first when sourcing new business. The purpose of the new program is to further improve value for members and sponsors alike, and to get members to automatically “think Site.”
To create awareness and excitement, an incentive program—the “Gain InSite” Token Challenge—will be launched at Site Canada’s 5th Annual Golf Tournament, taking place August 19, 2013 at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ontario.
At each Site Canada event starting with the tournament, supplier members will award tokens to buyer members for any new industry contacts made. Buyer members with the largest number of tokens by October 13, 2013, will receive a complimentary registration to Site Canada’s Education Day in November.
“I encourage other [Site] Chapters and Site Global to embrace our program and copy the brand guidelines, operational features and Token Challenge,” said Graham when asked about the proprietary nature of the program. “The Site community will exponentially benefit if the program grows beyond Canada.”
