For the second consecutive year, Skyline International Development Inc. has earned a spot on Deloitte’s 2014 list of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. The company re-qualified for the honor by maintaining the standards of performance demonstrated in earning the initial recognition.
” We are thrilled to be recognized with such a prestigious award for the second time, alongside so many other great Canadian businesses,” said Michael Sneyd, CEO of Skyline. “It is a tribute to all of the employees at Skyline, who have worked incredibly hard to build this great organization, while demonstrating the highest levels of innovation, drive and leadership.”
Established in 1993, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business awards programs. It recognizes companies that have implemented world-class business practices and created value in innovative ways. An independent judging panel evaluates applicants on how they address various business challenges, including new technologies, globalization, brand management, leadership, leveraging and developing core competencies, designing information systems, and hiring the right talent.
Skyline, which is one a leading owner, operator and developer of hospitality properties and destination communities, was recognized for its culture of commitment, diversified business model, strong strategic vision, and the involvement of its properties in the communities they serve.
This year’s judging panel included Deloitte, CIBC, National Post, Queen’s School of Business and MacKay CEO Forums.
2014 winners of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies award will be honored at a gala in Toronto on March 31, 2015.
