New Property Brings South Beach to Las Vegas Strip


The new all-suite Delano Las Vegas opened Tuesday. Developed by Morgans Hotel Group in partnership with MGM Resorts International, the property brings an understated, South Beach vibe to The Strip.

The non-smoking, non-gaming property’s 20,000 square feet of meeting space includes the 1,257-sq.-ft. Sage Living Room, 31 meeting rooms, four boardrooms and 16,000 square feet of space for breakfast and lunch meetings located on the top floor. The property is steps away from the AAA Four Diamond Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, which has 1.7 million gross square feet of meeting, event and convention space.

The Delano Las Vegas offers:

  • 1,117 guest suites with one of the highest standard room square footages (725 square feet) of any hotel in the city
  • 14,000 square foot, two-storey BATHHOUSE Spa, featuring 13 treatment rooms, separate hot-and-cold plunge pools, hot whirlpools, eucalyptus steam rooms, redwood saunas, relaxation lounges, vanity rooms, nail salon and state-of-the-art gym
  • a range of f&b venues: 3940 Coffee + Tea (artisanal teas and coffees, freshly squeezed juices): Della’s Kitchen, an eatery combining historic farmhouse with chic, industrial aesthetic and a menu centered on local and regional ingredients; Franklin, a bar serving rare, premium liquors, two dozen craft beers and wines by the glass; and opening in 2015, Rivea, which will serve French and Italian cuisine from internationally celebrated chef Alain Ducasse.

In 2015, the property will also open the Delano Beach Club, a dedicated, exclusive pool environment embracing the laid back South Beach style.
