Sparkling Hill Resort.
Focusing on whole-body wellness, Sparkling Hill Resort and Wellness Hotel plans a March, 2010, opening near Vernon, B.C.
The 152-room wellness hotel is part of the $100-million Sparkling Hill Resort, built on a pinnacle of rock overlooking Lake Okanagan.
The 35,000-sq.-ft., European-inspired spa facility will offer over 100 treatments, including hot stone massage, moor mud wraps, reflexology, aromatherapy and a complete aesthetic programme, including facials and manicures.
Sparkling Hill will also offer consultations with physicians, nutritionists, physiotherapists as well as medical and spa practitioners available for meetings and incentive travel groups.
In addition, the facility will offer the first cold sauna in North America, with temperatures of minus-110 degrees Celsius.
Augmented that will be eight sauna and steam rooms – each with different temperatures ranging from hot to cold – and three therapeutic pools.
