Donovan House, a Thompson Hotel, in Washington, D.C., has unveiled chef Susur Lee’s Zentan restaurant, along with a new rooftop pool and bar.
Located on Donovan House’s lobby level, Zentan serves Lee’s global modern Asian cuisine, including signature dishes from his restaurants Shang, at Thompson Lower East Side hotel, in New York, and Lee, in Toronto.
Zentan features a sushi bar and large communal table ideal for hosting groups brought by meeting and event planners.
Designed by Studio Gaia, Zentan’s dining room features deep purple and lavender, paired with dark woods.
Donovan House’s Above D.C. rooftop terrace offers a full-service bar, food from Zentan and a heated pool surrounded by chaise lounges.
Last December, Lee opened Shang restaurant, to mixed reviews.
