Tawfik Shehata has been named executive chef at The International Centre, in Mississauga, Ont.
Shehata brings nearly 20 years of professional culinary experience to the International Centre’s kitchen.
His resume includes stints at notable Toronto-area restaurants as Winston’s, Scaramouche, Auberge du Pommier, Boba, Truffles at The Four Seasons and Taboo Resort, and at resorts in Jamaica and Bermuda.
He has also been voted one of the “Top Ten New Chefs in Canada” by enRoute Magazine.
