Meeting room at Sheraton on the Falls, the hotel which will house Jamie Kennedy's new restaurant, beginning late November.
Renowned Toronto chef Jamie Kennedy plans to open a 100-seat restaurant on the 14th floor of the Sheraton on the Falls, in Niagara Falls, Ont., in November.
To that end, the noted chef has signed a two-year deal with Canadian Niagara Hotels, allowing use of his name for the new restaurant, to be called Jamie Kennedy on the Falls.
Under the agreement, Kennedy will, four times yearly, create menus, supplemented by daily specials. He will also direct the restaurant’s look, including the overall design, fabric choices and colour palette.
Scheduled to launch in late November, the eatery will offer dinner only.
Kennedy, who will assume the title of executive chef, has tapped Niagara chef Ross Midgley to be chef de cuisine and operate the restaurant on a day-to-day basis.
