Allstream Centre, at Toronto’s Exhibition Place, has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Certification from the Canada Green Building Council.

The first conference centre in Canada with LEED Silver certification, and renovated in 2009, Allstream Centre was built according to LEED Silver Standards.

LEED-certified buildings incorporate leading-edge features that protect the environment and promote healthy working and living conditions.

Among the highlights are: powered by renewable energy throughout; natural light throughout; a rainwater harvesting program; low-VOC adhesives, sealants and carpets; a white “cool roof;” and LED-technology for all exterior lighting.

Allstream Centre is a purpose-built conference centre with 20 meeting rooms and Toronto’s largest divisible, column-free ballroom.
