Two Canadians Receive CSEP Designation

Two Canadians are among the 11 event professionals who earned their Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation this April.

Anne-Marie Cey from Martensville, SK and Darlene Smart, CMP from Toronto, ON were recognized by the International Special Events Society (ISES) along with nine American event pros: Ashley Dunson (Pinson, AL); Andrea Kidd (Atlanta, GA); Brandon Lindley (Henderson, NV); Colleen Mahon (Louisville, KY); Ryan Pflumm (Raleigh, NC); Elizabeth Sexton (Washington, DC); Meridith Walters (Raleigh, NC); Ya-Ting Wang (San Francisco, CA); Laura Weddingfeld (Denver, CO).

Established in 1993, the Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) designation recognizes event professionals who have successfully demonstrated the knowledge, skills and ability essential to perform all components of a special event. The CSEP program and designation are administered by ISES.
