Vanderbilt Suites event space has opened in New York City’s Midtown area.
Located in the MetLife Building, the 2,200-sq.-ft venue accommodates 160, seated and 250, standing, and offers the flexibility of three private rooms, for smaller groups.
Operated by Patina Restaurant Group, Vanderbilt Suites offers food from all of Patina’s restaurants in the building. Menu choices run to French cuisine from Café Centro, Italian fare from Naples 45, American dishes from Cucina & Co. and tapas and modern Spanish from La Fonda del Sol.
On the décor side, the space was conceived by renowned interior designer Adam D. Tihany. The venue, named for Cornelius “Commodore” Vanderbilt, pays homage to the 1800s era, when the nation’s railroad industry was integrated. Fifteen-foot windows overlook Park Avenue.
