Victoria’s Hotel Rialto Reopens After Six-Month Renovation

Renovated guestroom in Hotel Rialto.

The Hotel Rialto, in Victoria, B.C., has reopened after completing an extensive six-month renovation.

Close to Victoria’s Inner Harbour, the hotel is housed in a restored 1912 heritage building.

The property now features 52 guestrooms, all renovated to include dark-wood furnishings, an in-room wine bar, complimentary coffee and tea, flat-screen plasma televisions with Innvue movie system and free wireless Internet.

Just off the lobby is Cafe Veneto, offering light breakfasts and lunches, and Veneto Tapa Lounge, a lounge serving tapas and cocktails. Also on the ground floor is Vintage Spirits, a store offering local wines and craft brews.

Guests staying for two or more nights have the option to go green, with a $10 restaurant voucher for each day they opt to waive housekeeping services.

The place looks incredible! I love how comfortable the mood is. Do you use local equipment rentals from Victoria, BC? I would love to spend a weekend out there and enjoy the lounge, room, and discount restaurant! The cafe seems quaint as well!
