Hamilton, Ontario-based Vrancor Group, owner and operator of 14 branded and independent hotels throughout Ontario, has started construction on a 92-room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Sarnia, Ontario. The property is expected to open in Winter 2015 and will feature contemporary meeting facilities for up to 150 guests.

Sarnia is located on the southern shores of Lake Huron, one hour north of Detroit, Michigan and one hour west of London, Ontario. It is home to a growing number of local, regional and international businesses including Bio-Amber Sarnia, Imperial Oil, Nova Chemicals Canada, Lanxess, Suncor Energy and the University of Western Ontario’s Research Park.
The Hampton Inn by Hilton Sarnia will offer traditional Hampton amenities as well as free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business centre, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Once open, the property will provide an estimated 30 jobs to the Sarnia area.
