The Westin Ottawa sales team has won the award for “Sales Team of the Year” for Starwood North America, in the “less than 500 rooms” category.
The awards were handed out in late February at Make Your Mark, the 2012 Starwood Sales & Operation Kick Off, in San Francisco.
Westin Ottawa’s sales team members are as follows: Cindy McLong, director of sales and marketing; Carly Grace, director of group sales; Amy O’Keefe, account director, corporate market; Tami Leblanc, account director, national associations; Helen Bird, sales manager, leisure tour & travel; Stacy Blacquiere, account director, associations and unions; Ashley Wilby, sales manager; Lisa Nguyen, sales manager; Laura Pankiw, sales coordinator.
Rounding out the sales team are Chris Moody, sales coordinator; Ayisha Rogalski, director of catering and convention services; Michelle Soleil, catering sales manager; Ann Rickenbacker, director of catering; Marcel Roy, convention services manager; Kelly Courtemanche, convention services manager; Tia Ward, catering sales manager, social events; Diana Helferty, catering sales manager; Sarah Watson, convention services manager; Lauren Duffell, catering coordinator.
The five other finalists included hotels from Detroit; Bellevue, Wash.; Princeville, Hawaii; Dallas and Austin, Tex.
