West Jet is flying to Cuba on a schedule basis
WestJet is now flying between Toronto and Varadero, Cayo Coco and Hoguin, Cuba, on a scheduled basis, starting April 1.
Previously, the airline served the three destinations on a charter basis.
“Scheduled WestJet flights are offered to 36 popular sun destinations in the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean, each with customized vacation packages available through WestJet Vacations,” said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet executive vice-president of strategy and planning. “This venture proved to be a popular choice with the Canadian travelling public and shows great potential for WestJet’s continued growth in those sun spot markets.”
Customers can now book flights to these destinations on the airline’s website, through travel agents or by calling WestJet’s Sales Super Centre.
