WestJet Launches Seasonal Routes, Increases B.C. Service for Olympics

WestJet has increased service to Western and Central Canada for this summer and to B.C. for next year's Winter Olympics.

westjet2WestJet has increased service to Western and Central Canada for this summer and to B.C. for next year’s Winter Olympics.

As part of an enhanced summer schedule, the airline has introduced seasonal non-stop service from Halifax to
London, Ont.

WestJet has also introduced seasonal non-stop service from Saskatoon, Sask., and Regina, Sask., to Vancouver, as well as seasonal non-stop service from Vancouver to London, Saskatoon, Regina and Fort McMurray, Alta.

In addition, the airline is offering seasonal non-stop service from Fort McMurray to Vancouver and Toronto.

For February and March, 2010, WestJet is adding more flights from its 55-city network to Vancouver and Abbotsford, B.C.

This will bring the number of flights to B.C.’s Lower Mainland to more than 350 for those two months.
