WestJet is offering trial flights to Las Vegas.
WestJet has launched twice-weekly service from Prince George, B.C., and Hamilton, Ont., to Las Vegas, for an 11-week trial period.
In July, the company announced that it had a window of additional flying time, over an 11-week period, between both of those Canadian cities and Las Vegas.
As a result, WestJet is “taking the opportunity to test the feasibility of this service,” said John MacLeod, vice-president, network management and alliances, in a release.
WestJet offers increased legroom, leather seats and live seatback television provided by Bell TV on its fleet of 96 Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.
In addition, the airline has confirmed deliveries for an additional 39 aircraft through 2018.
