Beginning in March, the Wyndham Montreal Airport hotel will operate under the Sheraton banner and will change its name to Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel.
In the meantime, the property will operate under the name Hôtel Montréal Aéroport – Airport.
Currently, the hotel is undergoing renovations to its 470 guestrooms and suites and meeting facilities, which will be modernized and will offer 20,000 sq. ft., including a 5,000-sq.-ft. ballroom.
The renovation will also include a new, 5,000-sq.-ft. spa and gym, with indoor/outdoor saltwater pool.
Also featured in the refurbishment will be a new, 13,000-sq.-ft. restaurant, with an outdoor terrace overlooking a pond, waterfall and two-acre garden.
Additional improvements are also planned.
The name change was precipitated by the expiry of the hotel’s management agreement.
