The space formerly occupied by Boba restaurant, in Toronto’s Yorkville area,  is now home to an Asian restaurant called Zin.

Owner Rockie Yu, of La Chine, in Richmond Hill. spent six weeks renovating the space before opening in mid-July. “We changed almost everything. The only things we kept are the chandeliers,” he said.

Black and gold decor fills the main floor, which features a small semi-private dining area, at the rear of the room, that holds eight, suitable for corporate business meetings or incentive travel dine arounds.

An upstairs lounge is equipped with a flat-screen television, a fireplace and a separate bar.
