The Readers’ Choice Awards program gives qualified planners the opportunity to honor Canadian suppliers that have exceeded expectations. The 2017 program has been expanded to include destination marketing organizations (DMOs/CVBs), destination management companies (DMCs), entertainment companies and premium/gift suppliers.
Here’s how it works: Through an online survey, planners nominate their favorite hotels, venues (without bedrooms) and caterers in four regions of Canada (West, Central, East, Territories), as well as national meetings industry suppliers (DMC, DMO, entertainment, gifts/premiums, audiovisual, online registration, etc.).
All planners have to do is supply the company name of the supplier and the city where they are located (for regional awards). There’s no need to nominate a property in each category.
The call for nominations for the 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards closes on Thursday, September 21st.
On Monday, September 25th, online voting will open and planners will vote to determine the winners and runners-up from the list of nominees. Online voting will close on Friday, October 6, 2017.
The winners of the online voting will be featured in the November.December issue of M+IT magazine.
