#SaintAwesome

Have you heard about what’s happening in Saint John, New Brunswick? Otherwise known as #SaintAwesome?

We offer the only convention facilities on the awe-inspiring Bay of Fundy – home to some of the world’s highest tides. That’s pretty cool. And our Saint John Trade & Convention Centre has been completely renovated and acts as an anchor for our all-season, climate-controlled, “Inside Connection” walkway. In less than 7 minutes delegates can travel from the convention centre to two shopping centres, restaurants, recreational and cultural facilities as well as 450 hotel rooms at the Hilton Saint John and Delta Hotels by Marriott Saint John.

Uptown Saint John is a safe, walkable treasury of restaurants, boutiques and art galleries with new ones popping up all the time. You can treat your delegates to some local beer at Picaroons brew-pub and then take a trip next door to the fabulous Buckland Merrifield Gallery featuring New Brunswick artisans. Both of these venues are located in a former car park which has recently been transformed into a cultural corner. And for dinner, you can dine at Port City Royal, recently named the second best new restaurant in Canada by Enroute magazine as well as landing on the Top 100 Best Restaurants in Canada list. Enjoy local food under the bricks and beams of another restored historic building.

A Cultural Capital of Canada in 2010, Saint John is home to a number of cultural attractions including the beautifully-restored Imperial Theatre, where you could treat delegates to dinner on the stage. The City Market, Canada’s oldest continuing farmers’ market, and the Hall of Great Whales at the New Brunswick Museum, are also one-of-a-kind experiences.
