Meetings + Incentive Travel’s readers nominated their favourite venues and suppliers and then cast 1,893 votes to determine the winners of the magazine’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

The Readers’ Choice Awards program currently has 21 categories. Three of the categories—Best Hotel, Best Venue (without bedrooms) and Best Caterer—each call for nominations in four regions: Eastern Canada, Central Canada, Western Canada and The Territories. Nine more categories—Transportation (ground), Speakers Bureau, Registration Services, Mobile Event App, AudioVisual, Entertainment (new), Destination Marketing Organization (new), Destination Management Company (new) and Premium/Gift Supplier (new)—are awarded nationally. Please note: This year 14 of the 21 categories drew nominations.
Since 1998, Meetings + Incentive Travel’s Readers’ Choice Awards program has given planners the chance to thank and celebrate the industry suppliers that make their events successful. This year’s call for nominations opened on August 29 and ran to September 22, drawing 77 nominations in the program’s 21 categories. It was followed by a three-week online voting period, which determined the winners and honourable mentions in each category.
